Job Description
We are looking for someone with retail experience, who is looking for a long term position, to become a Team Leader at our store.
Must be smart, willing to ask questions, figure things out and make things happen. This isn't the type of position with step by step weeks of training... You train on the job, learn a lot and ask questions to be able to take charge!
This is similar to our previous posting for a Bookseller, but as a team leader, there are higher expectations, including being able to open and/or close the store, being able to multi-task, learning and excelling at a variety of tasks. Must have retail experience and availability between 9 am and 8:30pm each day, including weekends (5 day a week schedule though).

The position requires:
* Open/Close the store
* Be to Go-To for other booksellers when the owner isn't available
* Processing, sorting and shelving merchandise
* Providing customer service in person and on the phone
* Ensuring store appearance is consistently maintained
* Performing register functions
* Processing the "We Buy" from customers
Book knowledge is helpful, greatly desired and encouraged.
Candidates should have some retail experience and a flexible schedule.
This isn't a "sit around and read" type position - you will definitely stay busy!
Must be able to move boxes up to 50 pounds.
Candidates MUST be able to work weekends.
