Life Care Supplies is medical distributor supporting Healthcare providers and patients with Medical surgical and pharmaceutical products.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Receiving and Unpacking
A primary duty of a warehouse technician is to complete or assist in the receipt, processing and unpacking of inventory units in boxes to ensure accuracy relative to invoices and computer orders. In the case of missing or defective items, the tech contacts the warehouse manager or the vendor.
Stocking and Organizing
After receipt, the technician then stocks products on shelves or on pallets. Organization is key during this process to allow for easier inventory checks and shipment pulls.
Shipping
Inventory process is shipping goods to customers after orders. The warehouse tech typically takes the invoice or product order and pulls inventory from the shelves. He fills boxes with products that match the order. Once the entire shipment is pulled, he puts a packing slip in the box, tapes the packages shut and arranges for transport.
Deliveries
As needed throughout local South East Michigan, tri-county area deliveries are part of the daily schedule
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with inventory management.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License (chauffeur license preferred) .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
