Are you an Ophthalmic Technician interested in working for a thriving ophthalmology practice? Well this is your chance....This is a part time position ranging from 20-40 hours a week for a busy Ophthalmology practice located in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. We are looking for the right individual to perform in the capacity of an Ophthalmic Assistant or a certified Ophthalmic Technician. Candidates should be proficient in medical terminology, obtaining patient histories and scribing alongside the physician as they are examining patients. Experience with OCT, fundus photography and Humphrey visual field is desirable. For the right individual, we will provide the tools and training necessary to become a certified Ophthalmic Technician. The candidate we are looking for should possess at least 1 year of experience, along with use of an EMR system, the ability to work in a team setting along with the ability to multi-task with accurate results.
