Your Role
You'll play a key role in helping Los Angeles County employees understand and maximize their insurance benefits.
This is a hybrid role combining member service, sales support, and administrative responsibilities. You'll assist employees with claims, answer benefit questions, schedule appointments, help members keep valuable coverage in force, and support our licensed advisors throughout the enrollment process.
You'll spend much of your day talking with people by phone and in person, building relationships, solving problems, and ensuring our members receive exceptional service.

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills — clear, confident, and comfortable connecting with people.
- Organized and reliable — able to track details and manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
- Confident problem-solver — comfortable handling objections and finding solutions.
- Professional and people-friendly — approachable, positive, and team-oriented.
- Hardworking, ambitious, and motivated — has a growth mindset and pushes themselves to improve.
- Sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM experience is a plus).
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist members with insurance claims.
- Follow up with members regarding pending claims.
- Schedule appointments for our Benefits Advisors.
- Contact members regarding policy changes, reinstatements, and claim updates.
- Help members understand their insurance benefits.
- Assist with policy retention and customer service.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails.
- Coordinate paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Support our field representatives with administrative and client service tasks.
