Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of pizza preparation
- Manage kitchen stations efficiently during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and functioning properly at all times
- Collaborate with team members to develop new pizza recipes and menu items that excite our guests
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in handling various culinary tools and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable
- Background in fine dining or gourmet pizza creation enhances your ability to deliver exceptional quality
- Excellent food service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork
- Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special requests
