Job Summary
Icon Motors is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive CFO. This pivotal role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles, regulatory standards, and financial management, driving accuracy and transparency across all financial activities.
Duties
- Manage and oversee automotive financial accounting, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring clarity and adherence to reporting standards.
- Conduct detailed account analysis and account reconciliation to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee cash management activities, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls related to governmental accounting, nonprofit accounting practices, and technical accounting standards.
- Utilize advanced accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms to streamline processes and enhance financial data integrity.
- Support budgeting processes by providing insightful financial analysis and forecasts that inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with all applicable laws governing automotive finance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial procedures, enhance reporting accuracy, and support audit preparations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, payroll processing, and general ledger management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
