Job description:
Successful burial vault business in western NC/SC is seeking technicians to transport vaults and set up graveside services. Our company operates 7 days a week to provide service to our customers so overtime is available which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
This career involves working outdoors and providing customer service to deliver and install concrete burial vaults and prepare for graveside committal services. This position requires professional conduct and clean appearance to our customers and the families more than any other position in the company.

Essential Job Functions
- Load, transport and unload burial vaults in the company vehicle from one of our warehouses to grave site in various cities. Could be driving up to 50% of time.
- Preparation for graveside service (placing folding chairs/chair covers / artificial grass)
- Assembly and disassembly of graveside tents.
- Installing the vault into the grave.
- Provide a safe, clean, respectful and dignified burial presentation for the family and guests at the grave site.
- Closing and lowering vault after service. (In some instances, this task may include assisting the gravedigger in closing the grave by shoveling dirt, tamping dirt, and using other various hand tools.)
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck and supplies
- Responsible for all work functions to be performed timely, correctly, and in a safe manner
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License with very limited infractions that clears with our Vehicle Insurance company.
- Be self-motivated and self-monitored with little supervision
- Maintain a clean and respectful personal appearance, wearing a clean uniform that is provided
- Must be flexible with working hours including Friday, Saturdays and Sundays and last minute scheduling.
- Must pass Motor Vehicle check and drug screen
- Detail oriented, Full body movement, use of all senses, able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 80 lbs
- Must be able to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel, and squat for short period of time.
- Must be a team player and customer service oriented
- The job requires working outdoors and being exposed to all types of weather conditions
- This position has a 6+ month training period so we are looking for those who want not just a job but a career and are interested in the long-term goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
