American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT), CRT, and BLS certification for a role requiring 2+ years of experience in a Level II Trauma community teaching hospital setting.

Work in the CT department of an acute care hospital setting
-
Adult and pediatric patient population served, including Emergency Department cases
-
Night shift (5x8 hours, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM) or Evening shift (5x8 hours, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM) schedules available

Epic EMR experience required

Utilizes GE CT equipment
-
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required

CRT (California license) required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required

Teaching hospital experience required

Community hospital experience required

Level II Trauma Center experience required

Epic charting system experience required

Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
-
Experience performing abdomen and pelvis studies with and without contrast, including colorectal and enterography studies
-
Experience with head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, soft tissue neck, and trauma head studies
-
Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
-
Experience with chest imaging including vascular chest studies (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
-
Experience with brain perfusion and vascular CTA special procedures
-
Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and radiation safety
-
Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies across abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions

Work within a Level II Trauma Center supporting adult and pediatric acute care and emergency department cases

Preferred experience includes IVP, calcium scoring/coronary angiography, and Level I Trauma exposure
-
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
-
Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
-
Returning travelers must have a minimum 1-year separation before being eligible to return
