What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.

Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, stairwells, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and observe building activity to help to deter trespassing, unauthorized entry, and/or policy violations while supporting daily operations at the location.

Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and first responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and/or requests for assistance.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
