Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with FDA regulations. This is a critical role in our organization, as quality is at the forefront of everything we do.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards
- Oversee all aspects of quality control, including QA/QC processes, quality inspections, and quality audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and objectives
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality management systems, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Ensure that all employees are trained on quality control procedures and adhere to established protocols
- Implement and maintain a HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) program to mitigate food safety risks, as well as SQF (Food safety program)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management
· Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent experience in food manufacturing / thermal process validation- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and HACCP/HARPC principles
- - Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- - Proficient in analyzing data and identifying trends or patterns- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- PCQI Certified or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire date
- SQF Edition 10 Certified or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire date
- HACCP/HARPC Certified
