The Material Handler is responsible for supporting the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout Green Dot Labs' production and warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production teams have the materials they need to meet daily production goals while maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and operational efficiency.
Working closely with the Associate Director, Supply Chain and cross-functional operations teams, this position supports receiving, inventory management, production staging, warehouse organization, and material replenishment activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
- Stage materials and production supplies based on daily production schedules

Pull, organize, replenish, and distribute materials to support production and packaging operations

Coordinate material movement between warehouse, production, packaging, and order fulfillment areas

Prepare materials for upcoming production runs, including future and weekend production needs

Monitor material inventory levels and proactively communicate replenishment needs

Partner with Production, Packaging, Inventory, and Order Fulfillment teams to support operational efficiency
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation

Enter received inventory into inventory management systems while maintaining accurate records

Identify, document, and communicate receiving discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials

Support vendor returns, purchase order reconciliation, and inventory transfer activities

Maintain organized warehouse locations and proper inventory storage practices

Coordinate internal inventory transfers and occasional off-site inventory movements as needed
- Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations

Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy throughout warehouse operations

Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions

Maintain battery inventory tracking and related reporting activities

Follow all state regulations and internal compliance procedures

Ensure all inventory transactions and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with SOPs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, staging, and inventory areas

Support cross-functional operational needs during peak production periods

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy

Follow all company safety policies and proper use of PPE

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum two years of experience working with inventory systems and inventory processes required

Previous experience working in a licensed cannabis facility preferred

Experience using Metrc preferred

Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory control systems preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Valid driver's license required

Must possess and maintain an active MED Badge

This role is primarily onsite in Boulder, CO and requires regular work within warehouse, production, inventory, and office environments. The position typically follows a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime based on operational needs.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds while moving inventory, packaging materials, and production components throughout the facility. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required by company procedures and applicable safety standards.
