Description of role:
Momentum- South Shore Support Services Inc. is looking to hire a thoughtful, self-motivated and well-organized person to provide behavioral support, planning and identified interventions for an adult male diagnosed with a Developmental Disability. The role of the staff is to help support the identified goal(s) of the client and their team of stakeholders to best promote personal agency and understanding.
Hours:
This is a part-time position. Applicant availability and fit can be determined within the phone screening and interview process.
Qualities for the role:
Strong candidates will have a background in, or experience working with, individuals diagnosed with Autism and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills while working collaboratively with the client and their family.
Individuals with an active license in Special Education, Board Certified Behavioral Analysis (BCBA), and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification are strongly preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate patience, possess a creative outlook for supporting activities, and be able to plan interventions aligned with client goals, while fostering a trusting relationship.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
