Signature Restoration Solutions is looking for an experienced Commercial Drywall Finisher to join our growing construction team. We perform commercial construction and renovation projects in hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, government buildings, and other commercial properties throughout the CSRA.
We are seeking professionals who take pride in producing high-quality finishes, work well as part of a team, and maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Tape and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready finish
- Apply and sand multiple coats of joint compound
- Repair damaged drywall, holes, cracks, and seams
- Match existing wall and ceiling textures
- Skim coat walls and ceilings as needed
- Prepare surfaces for primer and paint
- Install corner bead and finishing accessories
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety standards and OSHA guidelines
- Work professionally in occupied commercial buildings, including hospitals
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- 2+ years of drywall finishing experience
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Experience with Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes
- Ability to match a variety of textures
- Experience with drywall repair and patchwork
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is a plus
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
