Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk and clinical support areas. Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Collect patient vital signs, perform intake assessments, and document medical histories accurately.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures including phlebotomy and medication administration,
- Maintain organized medical records, ensure proper ICD coding for diagnoses, and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) efficiently.
- Support clinical workflows by preparing examination rooms and managing inventory of medical supplies.
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and coordinating follow-up appointments.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing billing information with attention to detail.
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office setting with exposure to outpatient clinics or hospital environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy are a plus.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices including vital signs collection and medical records management ensures accuracy and compliance.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
