This contract-to-hire opportunity near Acushnet, MA, welcomes both fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are passionate about fostering growth and learning.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Massachusetts SLP or SLPA license (required)
- Clinical experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings (including SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLP-Healthcare backgrounds)
- Strong commitment to collaborative practices and individualized care
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Open to both experienced SLPs and SLPAs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 10-15 students
- Conduct assessments and develop customized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insightful reports as needed
- Maintain accurate records and track progress toward student goals
- Work a flexible schedule of 4-5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from now through the end of July
