For over 30 years iWorx Systems has provided a full range of in-house manufactured advanced hardware, software, and biomedical accessories to support hands-on teaching and research in the life sciences.
We are currently seeking an individual to support the shipping and receiving process. This is a computer-active logistics role. We are specifically seeking a candidate with hands-on, prior experience independently navigating and processing shipments through carrier software, not just packing boxes.
Specific Duties:
- Manage and execute the daily digital shipping queue using UPS WorldShip and FedEx online for both domestic and international shipments.
- Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Coordinate directly with shipping carriers regarding deliveries, pickups, scheduling, and tracking issues.
- Securely package sensitive electronic hardware and accessories with regard to the protection of items to be shipped.
- Maintains accurate inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Requirements:
- Required: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience independently operating UPS WorldShip and FedEx online software.
- Required: Solid computer proficiency. Must be comfortable navigating multiple shipping platforms and managing digital tracking logs.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Willingness to assist colleagues and collaborate on inventory-related projects.
- Dependability. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
