Expected Annual Earnings: $75,000–$100,000+ (Base Salary + Commissions)
Duties
- Welcome customers and accurately document their vehicle concerns and service requests.
- Prepare repair orders and obtain the necessary approvals before work begins.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on technician findings and manufacturer recommendations.
- Provide customers with estimates, repair timelines, and authorization for additional work when needed.
- Monitor repair progress and coordinate with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Update customers throughout the repair process and address questions or concerns.
- Review completed repairs with customers and explain the work performed at vehicle delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and customer records within the dealership management system (DMS).
- Achieve departmental performance goals, including repair order sales and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure efficient daily operations and a positive customer experience.
Experience
- Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred.
- Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficient with computer systems and dealership management software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
