Dallas Lung Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient daily operation of clinic activities. This role requires both clinical and administrative responsibilities and strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, providers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
- Obtain and document vital signs: height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a compassionate, respectful patient experience.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and professional clinic environment, adhering to all internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the physician or practice manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical practice setting (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and attention to detail.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
