Position: Ice Cream Ambassador (Part-Time)
Schedule: Afternoon and early evening neighborhood runs (weekday availability preferred) and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience — greet and engage with guests, explain our menu offerings, and bring positive energy to every interaction.
- Process guest transactions and handle payments using Alsies’ point-of-sale system.
- Complete basic inventory tasks, including restocking products, maintaining truck organization, and logging data in our inventory management system.
- Drive the Alsies ice cream truck safely along designated routes, neighborhoods, and event locations.
- Operate Alsies’ technology app, responding to customer requests and neighborhood alerts in real time.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, community-focused approach.
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus and help connect with a diverse customer base.
- Sales or promotional experience is beneficial for engaging customers and increasing awareness.
- Positive, inclusive attitude and enthusiasm for bringing happiness to families and children.
Requirements
- Availability: Afternoon/evening shifts during the week and weekend availability required.
- Must be able to operate a large motor vehicle (not a box truck).
- 25 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record and background check required.
- Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with children, families, and event attendees.
