Job Description
- Thursday thru Monday Day Janitor Float
This position requires floating between various job sites to cover absenteeism, projects or other business needs as identified. Must have a valid Michigan drivers license to qualify to drive company vehicles as needed. Being flexible to change schedule on occasion is helpful. Must pass a background check.
Requirements include but not limited to:
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Able to follow written instructions and job procedures.
- Have adequate communication skills.
- Be able to move between job sites during the shift.
- Be able and willing to use all types of janitorial equipment and chemicals required at job sites.
- Be able to perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, spot carpet cleaning, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, gyms, shower rooms, etc.
- Be flexible to help other team members and positions when needed.
- Be self-motivated and can complete tasks within the budgeted hours.
- Be on time and present for all shifts.
- Follow the dress code and be professional with customers and coworkers.
- Follow safety and health guidelines
