American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position at an academic medical center in Missouri, requiring a MO or Compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

13-week travel contract in an adult ICU at a large academic medical center
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Primary float pool is within the Adult ICU Cluster; may also be floated to Med/Surg areas if not needed in the ICU cluster

Every other weekend required

50% holiday coverage required

Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Active MO or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted

Required certifications: BLS and ABLS

Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience and at least 1 year of ICU experience

Experience in a large facility or academic medical center required

Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

2 professional references required

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Position is in a 24/7 healthcare environment; rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and working during inclement weather may be required
