Iron Horse Bar and Grill is looking for a friendly, organized Host/Hostess to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. Located in Leawood, KS, we’re seeking an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality from the moment guests arrive.
Responsibilities
Guest Hospitality: Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable and appreciated from the start.
Seating Coordination: Seat guests promptly while maintaining balanced table rotation, server sections, and overall dining room flow.
Dining Room Awareness: Monitor table availability and the layout of the dining area to maximize efficiency and reduce guest wait times.
Maintain the Front Entrance: Keep the host stand and entryway clean, organized, and inviting throughout each shift.
Team Communication: Work closely with servers and kitchen staff by providing timely updates on seating, guest requests, and wait times.
Menu Assistance: Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and promotions while accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Reservation Management: Organize and manage reservations accurately, ensuring guests are seated according to schedule.
Stay Calm Under Pressure: Effectively manage multiple tasks during busy service periods while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Guest Satisfaction: Address guest concerns promptly and courteously to help create an enjoyable dining experience.
Team Collaboration: Partner with all team members to deliver efficient service and an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
