The Appleton Area School District has full-time 1.0 FTE positions available for Interpreter Paraprofessionals beginning with the 2026-27 school year.
Salary: Step 1: $18.60
Schedule: 35 hours/week (M-F) 7:30 - 3:20 pm
Positions Available:
- Swahili/Kinyarwanda Interpreter
- Swahili Interpreter
- Dari/Farsi EL Interpreter
- Hmong EL Interpreter
Education Required: High School Diploma / HSED / GED
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to speak, read, and write Swahili
- Ability to work cooperatively in a variety of settings with professional staff, students, and parents
- Strong academic skills and familiarity with school content material is highly recommended
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
