The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for the overall design, architecture, and development of LeadsOnline's applications, marketing website, and marketing collateral. This role blends UI and UX design, a combination not commonly found in a single designer, to create interfaces that are both visually effective and highly usable for law enforcement professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain application design and information architecture.
- Design and refine user interfaces using material design principles to ensure a seamless, effective experience for law enforcement professionals.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design concepts.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to refine designs.
- Test and maintain browser compatibility.
- Manage front end application development.
- Develop and update the marketing website.
- Design marketing collateral and go to market materials.
- Assist in designing materials for trade shows and other promotional events, ensuring consistent brand presentation.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across all products.
- Adhere to company and job specific security protocols; maintain confidentiality of LeadsOnline system data and proprietary information.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in product design, specifically supporting a software product suite.
- Proficient in material design, with portfolio demonstrating experience crafting usable digital interfaces.
- Experience with CSS, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, and accessible design.
- Experience with standard UX software such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong visual design skills with sensitivity to user system interaction, including calls to action and user behavior.
- Experience in web design and SEO.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up to date knowledge of current UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, including ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant professional experience.
- Must be US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in information architecture, mobile design, responsive design, and usability testing.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with InDesign.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
