Antego Tire & Wheel is seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to help lead our growing Aftermarket Parts Warehouse in Newnan, Georgia.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will assist with daily warehouse operations while leading a team of warehouse associates to ensure accurate, efficient order fulfillment and outstanding customer service.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and supervise a team of approximately three warehouse employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Receive incoming inventory
- Safely operate forklifts
- Load and unload trucks
- Process customer returns
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Process orders using warehouse computer systems
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Ensure safe work practices are followed
- Help train new employees
- Assist customers and internal departments as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years warehouse experience
- Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Computer skills
- Experience processing shipments and returns
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Inventory management experience
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
- Shipping experience with UPS/FedEx/LTL carriers
- Automotive, powersports, or aftermarket parts experience
Pay: $23.00 - $26.50 per hour
