Facilities Administrative Assistant
Location: Sunbury, Ohio
Compensation: From $21.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Administrative Assistant to support daily operations across our facilities and administration functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, safety, and compliance of company facilities while serving as a central point of contact for staff and vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Support oversight of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance

Coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities

Assist with managing company-owned vehicles and related upkeep

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding facility requests and concerns

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, custodial teams, and security personnel to ensure timely service completion

Assist in managing vendor contracts and service agreements

Support facility security protocols, including access control and key distribution

Assist with emergency preparedness planning, including evacuation procedures

Help ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Maintain facility documentation, reports, and maintenance logs

Process invoices, purchase orders, and facility-related correspondence

Monitor and maintain inventory of office and facility supplies, coordinating purchasing as needed
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in facilities, property administration, or administrative support preferred

Basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

High school diploma or equivalent required
