Registered Armed Security Officer (Part-Time/Full-Time)
We are looking for several professional armed security officers for 2 of our locations. Must have prior experience as armed security. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of skill in recognizing potential threats and troublemakers and the ability to remove them from the premises as discreetly as possible. Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the establishment
- Investigate persons for suspicious activity or weapons
- Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
Skills
- Proven experience as armed security officer, law enforcement or military
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Deescalation techniques
- Ability to work with other officers to control crowds
- Taser certified
