South Florida Center for Behavioral Health (a division of Peace of Mind Jax, LLC) is an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team providing applied behavior analysis treatment to children and their families across Florida for over 15 years. We provide ABA services at our state of the art center located in Doral, as well as home, school and community settings across Miami Dade County. - Position Title: BCBA
- Compensation: Hourly Range: $60-$67/ hour, Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 per year plus bonus pay.
- Position Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time
- Job Duties:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create and monitor function based interventions.
- Proficiency with conducting standardized and curricular skills assessment (ex: VBMAPP, ABLLS, PEAK, Vineland, ABAS, etc.) and developing new programs based on results.
- Perform ongoing plan modifications and adjustments to current programs as needed.
- Provide field supervision to RBTs as required for cases
- Support staff in meeting clinical requirements
- Provide caregiver training to the parents and other stakeholders
- Conduct performance evaluations of therapist under your supervision
- Available to parents, therapist and administrative staff by phone during work hours
- Produce progress reports and treatment plans to meet the requirements and submission timelines of regulatory agencies and funding sources
- Must attend staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as requested
- Motivated to lead by example
- Flexible work schedule with reasonable expectations of billable hours
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program.
- BCBA Certification is a must.
- Valid driver license and a reliable form of insured transportation (driving is required with mileage reimbursement included)
- Pass a background check
- Must be able to sit on the floor, kneel, run around, squat, and lift materials
