We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for managing billing, accounts receivable, resident trust accounts, payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
The Business Office Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the facility’s financial health while delivering excellent service to residents, families, and staff.

Oversee all business office functions, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable

Manage Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay billing processes

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain healthy cash flow

Ensure accurate verification of insurance benefits and payer sources

Manage resident trust accounts in compliance with regulatory guidelines

Coordinate payroll processes and maintain employee records as required

Prepare financial reports for Administrator and corporate leadership

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

Respond to resident and family billing inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Supervise and support business office staff (if applicable)

Assist with month-end closing and audits

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing business office operations preferred

Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing

Experience with EMR and billing software systems

Strong understanding of accounts receivable management
