Marine Service Technician Apprentice

Woodard Marine is looking for the next member of our service team. We are seeking someone who is mechanically minded, highly motivated, eager to learn, and excited by an environment where every day brings something different.
This is not an ordinary technician position. Our technicians diagnose problems, perform repairs, work on the water, learn new technology, and develop specialized skills that build lifelong careers.

What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair new and older boats.
- Work on carbureted and fuel-injected engines.
- Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and mechanical systems.
- Install accessories and upgrades.
- Perform winterization and summerization services.
- Conduct water testing and on-the-water diagnostics.
- Work closely with a team of experienced technicians while building your own knowledge and skill set.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous technical or service experience (marine experience is not required).
- Supply your own generalized Tools
- Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, diesel, farming, construction, or similar industries is a plus.
- Boating experience and trailer experience are strongly recommended.
