Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Manager to lead our retail team with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail sales staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to meet sales targets and improve customer service standards.
- Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory control to optimize product availability and minimize shrinkage.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions for new hires, interview prospective candidates, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team aligned with company values.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to resolve issues promptly.
- Implement merchandising strategies and oversee store presentation to create an inviting shopping environment that encourages sales growth.
- Assist in budgeting activities, purchasing decisions, and operational planning to support store profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, cash handling procedures, POS system protocols, and operational policies at all times.
- Support team members through supervision of cashiering activities, stock organization, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry or similar customer-focused environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in team management, training & development, and leadership roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management techniques, inventory control practices, and basic bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, purchasing processes, and operational management tools.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Prior experience in retail sales teams with a focus on customer service excellence is essential for success in this role.
