Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Travel Contract
Location: Tacoma, WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Schedule: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join a busy imaging department in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have strong general radiology skills and be ready to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
Required Certifications
- BLS Certification
- ARRT (R) – Certified Radiologic Technologist
- COVID Vaccine Required
Qualifications
- Must have an active Washington State Radiologic Technologist License in hand
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience required
- Strong knowledge of general X-ray procedures
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
