Maintenance Technician / Handyman

Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Dizmang Properties is looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our in-house maintenance team. We have proudly served Springfield and the surrounding area for nearly 40 years and manage a large portfolio of single-family rental homes.

Responsibilities
- General residential maintenance and handyman repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs including replacing toilets, repairing faucets, fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing disposals
- Basic carpentry including doors, trim, cabinets, and hardware
- Drywall repair, painting, and touch-up work
- Flooring repairs and installation of miscellaneous fixtures
- Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs in a professional manner
- Help prepare homes for new tenants by completing make-ready repairs
- Drywall repair, patching, texturing, and interior/exterior painting
Qualifications
- Experience in residential maintenance, handyman work, remodeling, or construction
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Dependable, honest, and professional attitude
The more skills and experience you bring, the more valuable you are to our team. Applicants with strong plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, remodeling, or other specialized maintenance experience may be considered for compensation above the advertised pay range.
