CS Tool Engineering is a family-owned precision mold builder specializing in high-quality plastic injection molds for the automotive and consumer products industries. We are looking for experienced Mold Makers to join our team on 1st and 2nd Shift.

Position Summary
The Mold Maker will be responsible for the assembly, fitting, spotting, troubleshooting, repair, and completion of plastic injection molds. This position works closely with Engineering, CNC, EDM, and Project Management to ensure tooling is completed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities
· Assemble and fit plastic injection molds from start to completion.
· Perform precision fitting, spotting, polishing, and final assembly.
· Read and interpret mold designs, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
· Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues.
· Perform mold modifications, repairs, and engineering changes.
· Install and fit ejector systems, slides, lifters, inserts, components, and other mold mechanisms.
· Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment.
· Operate manual and CNC equipment as needed.
· Work closely with Engineering, CNC, EDM, and other departments throughout the mold-building process.
· Assist with mold tryouts and make necessary adjustments based on results.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
· Follow company quality and safety standards.
· Help support multiple projects when required to meet customer schedules.
Qualifications
· Previous plastic injection mold building experience preferred.
· Strong understanding of mold construction and operation.
· Ability to read and understand mold designs and detailed engineering drawings.
· Experience with mold assembly, fitting, spotting, and troubleshooting.
· Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
· Machining experience is a plus.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Dependable with good attendance and a positive attitude.
· Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support other areas of the shop when needed.
