Join a Growing Towing & Recovery Team
Roberts Towing & Recovery is seeking a dependable Flatbed Tow Truck Driver to join our team.
Unlike many towing companies, the majority of our work comes from police departments and established commercial accounts. We handle a mix of vehicle towing, equipment transportation, and account work, providing steady year-round opportunities for the right driver.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their equipment, works safely, and represents the company professionally.
What You'll Do
- Operate a flatbed tow truck safely and professionally
- Respond to police-requested towing assignments
- Service commercial and fleet accounts
- Transport cars, trucks, and various types of equipment
- Properly load, secure, and unload vehicles and equipment
- Complete required paperwork and dispatch communications
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Assist with basic shop and yard duties when towing volume is slower
- Help maintain clean trucks, equipment, shop areas, and yard facilities
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Scheduled on-call nights during the week
- Rotating weekend on-call schedule
- After-hours calls available for additional earnings
Pay & Earning Potential
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience
- Overtime opportunities available
- After-hours tows paid as overtime or commission depending on the account
- Consistent work from police contracts and commercial accounts
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous towing, flatbed, transportation, equipment hauling, or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Commitment to safety
CDL is a plus but not required.
