Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. In addition to washing dishes and kitchen equipment, this position is responsible for general cleaning throughout the facility and assisting with miscellaneous tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Essential Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Empty trash and recycling regularly.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors in kitchen and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, and other shared spaces.
- Wipe down tables, counters, doors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Restock paper products, soap, cleaning supplies, and other inventory as needed.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Perform light maintenance and miscellaneous cleaning duties.
- Support staff with basic prep or stocking tasks when needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous dishwashing or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Comfortable working in a wet, fast-paced environment and using cleaning chemicals safely.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
