What You Will Do
- Assist in managing criminal defense matters from intake through resolution
- Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and case summaries
- Help prepare cases for hearings, negotiations, and trial
- Maintain highly organized case files and deadlines
- Support senior attorneys by ensuring case details, documents, and timelines are fully prepared
- Communicate with clients professionally and thoughtfully
- Participate in legal research and strategy discussions
- Attend hearings and court proceedings while developing practical courtroom understanding
- Help ensure both attorneys and cases stay organized and moving forward
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed attorney in Tennessee
- Newer attorney or attorney with early litigation experience welcome
- Extremely organized and detail-conscious
- Fast learner who takes initiative and absorbs guidance well
- Strong writing and analytical ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
- Able to support senior attorneys while developing independent legal judgment
- Professional, mature, and steady with clients facing stressful circumstances
