Join our dynamic team as a Lawn and Landscape Technician, where your passion for outdoor work and landscaping will help create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through skilled operation of groundskeeping equipment, plant care, and landscape installation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and grounds management while working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy, attractive turf.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as power tools, hand tools, mowers, excavators, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning trees and shrubs, planting shrubs, installing stone and mulch, and installing hardscape features like patios or walls.
- Follow all safety protocols during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Drive trucks with trailers
- Assist with snow plowing or winter maintenance tasks during seasonal changes as needed.
Skills (not required, but will have to learn)
- Mechanical knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment operation.
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating physical stamina and safety-conscious behavior.
