At Renaissance Properties, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. MON-FRI: 9AM-6PM, SAT: 9AM-4PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using tools such as welders and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
