Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and treatment plans.
- Accurately operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nurses to ensure optimal treatment and patient comfort.
- Document and update patient treatment records and observations.
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety standards, protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T) required.
- Valid state license (or ability to obtain prior to assignment).
- Previous experience in a clinical radiation therapy role strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
