Job Summary:
The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher will instruct physical education classes in basic P.E. following the approved procedures and curriculum of the District.
Organizational Relationship:
The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher reports directly to the Building Administration.
Qualifications:
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator Licensure with Physical Education endorsement, required
- Health Education endorsement (HEED), preferred or must be willing to complete
- Adaptive Physical Education Approval, preferred or must be willing to complete
- Solutions-focused approach to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of all children
- Experience working within an elementary school setting and a diverse (culturally, racially, ethnically, linguistically etc.) student population

Salary:
