Our shop is a second location and is in Miramar in the middle of a very busy plaza. This position is a chair weekly rental in a barber position where you work for yourself and keep 100% of profits after paying weekly rent.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming consultations tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Utilize salon software Booksy to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and adhering to health regulations.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends in hair care.
- Pay weekly rent for barber chair.
- Be able to provide and bring own supplies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have an active License as a Restricted or Master Barber through the state of Florida
- At minimum 1 year of experience working as a Licensed Barber
- Must be able to bring clients but also be open to walk ins.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong foundation in barbering licenses.
- Proficiency with salon software systems such as Booksy, Cash app, Zelle, Apple Pay and/or Square for payments, appointment booking and/or client management.
- Expertise in haircutting techniques including traditional cuts and modern styles using straight razors when appropriate.
- Professionalism and Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and building lasting relationships.
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Ability to mentor team members while demonstrating professionalism in store management practices.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance client experiences while increasing revenue opportunities.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
