Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Company Driver specialized in LNG (liquefied natural gas) and CNG (compressed natural gas) hauling to join our dedicated transportation team. This role involves operating specialized tanker trucks equipped for hazardous materials, ensuring the secure and timely delivery of fuel products across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle complex logistics while maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations. As a vital link in our supply chain, you will play a crucial role in delivering energy resources efficiently and responsibly.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate LNG/CNG tanker trucks with manual transmission across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Load, secure, and unload hazardous materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, ensuring all safety features are functional and compliant with hazmat regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Follow strict safety procedures for handling hazardous materials, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and adherence to DOT hazmat regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks such as brake systems, tires, lights, and tank integrity to ensure optimal operation.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements for hazmat, tanker, TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential), and any other applicable certifications.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers hauling hazardous materials or fuel products.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures for freight involving hazardous substances; familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of route driving logistics and compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
