Petite Paw Palace is a brand-new exclusively small dog & cat boarding, daycare, and grooming facility opening in McKinney, TX, and we are looking for an experienced Professional Pet Groomer to join our founding team.
This is a unique opportunity to grow with a company from the ground up and help shape the culture, standards, and future of a boutique pet care brand.

At Petite Paw Palace, our mission is simple: create a place where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — and where owners feel complete peace of mind when they leave.
We designed Petite Paw Palace differently on purpose. Traditional boarding, daycare and grooming facilities often combine dogs of all sizes and energy levels, which can be overwhelming for many smaller pets. We saw a need for something calmer, gentler, and more personal. Our facility is dedicated specifically to smaller dogs weighing 30 lbs or less, allowing them to play, rest, and socialize in an environment built entirely around their size and temperament. Here, guests never have to interact with large dogs, and every routine — from playgroups to handling to suite design — is tailored to help little dogs feel secure and confident.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality grooming services for small dogs and cats
- Complete breed cuts, hand scissoring, deshedding, bathing, nail trims, and finishing
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with pet parents
- Assist with daily operations and support front-end management
- Help oversee cleanliness, safety, scheduling, and workflow
- Support daycare and boarding operations as needed
- Maintain a safe, low-stress environment for pets
Qualifications
Required:
- Professional dog grooming experience
- Strong handling and grooming skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and team mindset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred:
- Assistant management or leadership experience
- Experience in a boarding, daycare, or veterinary environment
