Position Summary:
This position is responsible for graphic design, social media management, content creation, analytics tracking, website updates, and supporting outreach and community engagement initiatives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Create and design digital and print materials, including flyers, brochures, presentations, newsletters, infographics, and social media graphics
§ Manage ELC's social media platforms by creating content, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to messages and comments
§ Develop compelling content for websites, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional materials
§ Assist with maintaining and updating website content using WordPress or other content management systems
§ Monitor and analyze communication and social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
§ Support the development and implementation of communication, marketing, and outreach campaigns
§ Edit and proofread communications materials for accuracy, grammar, spelling, consistency, and brand standards
§ Assist with the production of annual reports, newsletters, promotional materials, and organizational publications
§ Manage communication tools such as Constant Contact, Canva, SharePoint, Zoom, and other approved platforms
§ Attend organizational events and assist with photography, content collection, and promotion efforts
§ Maintain organizational photo and digital asset libraries
§ Ensure all communications and designs align with ELC's
§ Participate in the Communications calls with Division of Early Learning
§ Responsible for ensuring appropriate use of all resources by immediately reporting suspected fraud (internal and/or external) via ELC established Fraud Reporting Procedure
§ Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance
§ Participate in structured peer review activities to evaluate work quality, ensure consistency, and support continuous improvement across the team
§ Perform other job duties as assigned
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Two to three year experience in communications, graphic design, social media management or related work
- Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office required
- Experience managing social media platforms preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of website management and WordPress preferred

Salary: $47,000 - $49,000 (depending on experience)
