Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment, including automated and manual systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Interpret production documents such as batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to accurately execute packaging tasks.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment and packaging machinery to resolve issues swiftly and minimize downtime.
- Handle materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment, including forklifts, while adhering to safety protocols in warehouse and production areas.
- Conduct heavy lifting and assembly tasks as required, following safety standards in production environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, inspections, and equipment maintenance in compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
- Support manufacturing operations by adhering to safety standards, participating in safety training sessions, and following all GMP procedures for quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility, preferably within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment operation and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP requirements, and safety standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during packaging processes.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts while maintaining safety protocol adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving within manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members across warehouse operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance functions.
