Overview
Join R&D Dynamics team as a Quality Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance within our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished products. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, digital indicators, depth gages, bore gages and pin gages.
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and rework instructions accurately and clearly.
- Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support incoming inspection of materials and components from suppliers.
- Ensure all inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Participate in audits, FAI (First Article Inspections), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 and other applicable industry and customer standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, or similar standards.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and production documents accurately.
- Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing environments such as FDA regulations and ISO standards.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; capable of performing basic math calculations for measurements and data collection.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting inspection results clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of quality management principles including QA/QC processes, data analysis, and root cause analysis techniques.
