Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient visits in real-time within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
- Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and other pertinent clinical information during patient intake processes.
- Support clinical staff with procedures such as medication administration, X-ray coordination, and basic life support when needed.
- Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and facilitating communication between patients and providers.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
- Contribute to a smooth clinical environment by supporting inpatient and outpatient services across specialties including dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and more.
- Assist with ICD coding for diagnoses to ensure proper billing and documentation accuracy within hospital or clinic settings.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant with Scribe experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology relevant to inpatient and outpatient care.
- Experience working within EHR systems such as ECW
- Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs collection, patient intake procedures, and basic medication administration accurately.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or emergency departments while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
