American Traveler is hiring a Travel Echo Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a Cardiovascular Ultrasound position at a 300-bed acute care hospital in Beckley, WV.

Located on the 1st floor Cardiovascular Ultrasound unit of a 300-bed acute care hospital
-
Serves a patient population of all ages, including pediatric patients
-
Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
Call requirements include 10 days per month covering evenings and weekends
-
Every other weekend on-call, with 8–12 hour weekend call shifts
-
Equipment includes Canon Ultrasound and Philips systems
-
EMR/imaging systems include Meditech, Fuji PACS, and Synapse
-
13-week contract
-
Minimum of 1 year of Echo Tech experience
-
RDCS or RCS certification required
-
AHA BLS required
-
Must be able to perform pediatric echos, TEE, and carotid studies
-
Must be able to work independently
-
License required if applicable — certification/licensure is required to work as an Echo Tech in WV
-
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

Royal blue or red scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable

Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible

First-time travelers will be considered provided all requirements are met
