At SpringSeal, Inc., your shift begins by preparing a complete extrusion line for production. You will select the correct die size (from 2 to 4.5 inches), bring a Welex, NRM, Davis-Standard, or American Kuhne extruder up to temp, and fine-tune downstream gear to hit the target profile every time. If you enjoy turning raw pellets into precise, repeatable results, this role is for you.
- Set up, start, and operate the full thermoplastic profile extrusion line from hopper to winder.
- Configure dies, calibrate cooling, and dial in process parameters for consistent output.
- Set up and run downstream equipment including pullers, cutters, winders, printers, and welders.
- Work with downstream brands such as Vulcan, Goodman, CDS, and RDN.
- Verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers; compare to simple prints and specifications.
- Troubleshoot line issues and maintain steady, efficient throughput.
- At least 2 years of profile extrusion experience.
- Ability to read calipers, micrometers, simple prints, and follow instructions.
- Own set of job-related tools.
